Rain

Bild
If the rain comes they run and hide their heads. They might as well be dead. If the rain comes, if the rain comes. When the sun shines they slip into the shade (When the sun shines down.) And sip their lemonade. (When the sun shines down.) When the sun shines, when the sun shines. Rain, I don't mind. Shine, the world looks fine. I can show you that when it starts to rain, (When the Rain comes down.) Everything's the same. (When the Rain comes down.) I can show you, I can show you. Rain, I don't mind. Shine, the world looks fine. Can you hear me, that when it rains and shines, (When it Rains and shines.) It's just a state of mind? (When it rains and shines.) Can you hear me, can you hear me? If the rain comes they run and hide their heads. sdaeh rieht edih dna nur yeht semoc niar eht fI. (Rain) niaR. (Rain) enihsnuS.

Where to put your hands in a portrait...

I tried to shoot a self-portrait in our living-room, because I always shoot the rest of the family, but no one takes pictures of me :-) I tried different poses, but the results looked awful...where to put my hands? Grrrrrr..... So I grabbed my beer and pointed at it...best result for tonight, cheers! The Lovely MZuiko 1.8/45 on Olympus Pen EPM-1 (small but powerful)

Shooting in the rain with Olympus E1, Zuiko 14-54

...this is my favourite combination for bad weather (i use it quite often this summer). Martha and I went to a "summer party" in our town, uaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh! It was raining cats and dogs, so i grabbed my bad weather-combo, E1 and 14-54. German law is forbidding to publish pictures of people without permission, so I worked around that. This was easy to do, as there were only few people around.  My favourite pic is the one with the balloolns hiding the faces. One picture shows the Rhododendron queens. They are persons of common interest, so publishing their photos does not collide with the law :-).
