The Red Leaf
First shots with ZD 70-300, and first entry in English, please overlook any mistakes...

Got my new (used) Zuiko 70-300. Not the fastest lens regarding aperture and autofocus, but it fits to my needs...
The Red Leaf can be found in our backyard. It jumps from tree to tree like a monkey. With a little luck you can shoot (capture) it, but be fast and silent! It will move away quickly if you make the slightest noise!

This one was caught by a Mad Green Branch. Poor little thing!
Just waiting for the next breeze to jump on...

By pure chance I found the retreat of The Red Leaves. A colony of hundres, maybe thousands of them, just hangin´ out in the branches of a tree! Strange...

Das kam am letzten Wochenende quasi über Nacht: Samstag eine leichte Schwellung am Oberlid, Sonntag das Auge dick und nur einen Spaltbreit offen, Montag früh Tomate auf dem Auge, komplett zu geschwollen! Mama und Niklas in die Kinderklinik, Antibiose intravenös (Beim neunten Versuch hat´s dann schließlich geklappt). Am Mittwoch sah es dann schon viel besser aus und der kleine Mann hatte wieder den vollen Durchblick. Kanüle kaputt, neuer Versuch lief ins Bein...da haben wir auf Saft umgestellt und den Patienten in die häusliche Betreuung zurück geholt. Heut ist er wieder topfit! Sonntag mittag Sonntag abend Montag erspare ich Euch... Mittwoch war er dann schon wieder der Entdeckerkönig!

Niklas duscht gern. Er mag gar nicht aufhören und kriegt Tobsuchtsanfälle, wenn er raus muss. Föhnen auf dem Wickeltisch findet er nicht so toll. Super unscharfes Bild, aber es hat so einen schönen Retro-Look. Technische Perfektion ist nicht alles! Oly E-600 mit Zuiko OM 28/2.8
